Please share your time and talents.

For 104 years, this ministry has thrived through the cooperation and generosity of three entities - Sisters, staff, and volunteers. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Assist someone by carrying his or her meal tray from the buffet to the dining table at your choice of breakfast, noon, or suppertime. Pour water, coffee and milk.
  • Drive a resident to the doctor or dentist, or ride along in the medi-car with them. Family members who live far away and can't personally drive or accompany their loved one to the doctor depend on volunteers like YOU for this.
  • Visit with residents.
  • Help at birthday parties, picnics, resident activities, and fundraising events.
  • Take a resident for a walk in the garden.
  • Office duties: Answer the telephone, answer the doorbell, type, stuff envelopes, or make copies.
  • Sew name labels in residents' clothing
  • Mow, rake, plant, or weed yard

Please understand that a simple, everyday function that you don't even consider a gift, such as driving or walking or having a cheerful conversation, can be a blessing from heaven for someone who is unable to do so. Volunteers help control costs, bring cheer, and enrich residents' lives.
