Each ornament comes in a velvet-lined presentation case embossed with the Seal of the City of Springfield. Enclosed in each case is a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity with a brief historical description of the city landmark or event featured on the ornament.

Proceeds from the annual ornament project support the mission and the ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception. Since 1903, the Sisters have provided to the elderly men and women of Springfield, compassionate and loving care. The Home offers the aging and their families a respectful environment that welcomes and supports each person’s religious beliefs and reflects the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
